Amber L.Owner |
Hi! My name is Amber and I am the Owner and walker/sitter of Walk this Wag. Sharing the spotlight with me is my other half, Pepper. I should say “my other ¼” because I have two cats, Pascal and Beckley, who would have something to say about Pepper taking a whole ½! A social worker for 13 years, I discovered my love of dog walking and pet sitting through helping friends, family, and neighbors. I decided to make the career leap to full time professional dog walker and have been grateful for the wonderful relationships I have made with clients and pets alike. I enjoy all types of pets (dogs, cats, fish, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, etc) but found I have a soft spot for the rescues and “nervous types” who are still unsure about the joys a safe home can provide. With patience, proper training, love, and time, I have seen those shy, “scared at their own shadow” dogs blossom into the confident, goofy dogs they’ve always had inside of them! Clients find my attention to detail and close communication a sense of comfort, knowing their furry family members are well taken care of when they are away from home.
I look forward to adding you and your pet(s) to our Walk this Wag family! |
Lori B.Pet Sitter |
I'm a mom of two almost grown children, Caitlyn and Taylor, and rescue terrier mix, Spud. I am an NC State grad and long-time state employee. I started pet sitting 2 years ago and love having a part-time job that is so much fun! I enjoy spending time with all my furry friends and strive to treat them all like my own (but don't tell Spud - he's a jealous type!) In my spare time, I enjoy cycling and watching my daughter compete in horseback riding events.

Laura Y.Pet Sitter |
My name is Laura and I've lived in the Raleigh area for 27 years. I started pet sitting about 3 years ago and have found it to be a wonderful supplement to owning my own recruiting business and international relocation consulting. I am an NCSU alumni who's main career focus is placing Accounting and Finance professionals - I've been doing this for 20 years. I also have a very active 12 year old daughter and one amazing 11 year old cat, Prince. We regularly host friend's dogs at our house while their parents are travelling and I am blessed to watch a myriad of amazing dogs and cats for their owners. I especially love walking dogs and enjoying nature. Pet sitting has been a blessing to me as I love talking with the animals and bonding with them.
